University Experience & Community Involvement
Throughout Ms.Campbell’s university career, she has been active on the university campus holding many positions, from Indigenous Peer Mentor, Sorority Treasurer, Member-at-Large, Indigenous Representative but most importantly student.
Miss Campbell was involved as a mentor in the Indigenous Peer Mentor Program for 3 years. As an Indigenous Peer Mentor she worked to ensure that new students were able to succeed in their university careers, supported the guests, staff and activities of Cplul’kw’ten: The Gathering Place.
Miss Campbell is a member of Kappa Beta Gamma international sorority. She became treasurer after joining in 2017 and held the position until mid-2020. As treasurer, Miss Campbell was responsible for the sorority’s financial standing, collecting and making payments on behalf of her chapter.
TRUSU, Miss Campbell’s Student Union has an Equity Committee that works to ensure that marginalized groups on campus are treated in an equitable manner. Miss Campbell has served on the Equity Committee as both a Member-at Large and the Indigenous Constituency Representative. During her time on the committee, Miss Campbell worked on projects such as; gender-inclusive washrooms, annual pride parades, and Indigenous language events.
